Yazoo Lumber and Mats is located on the historic banks of the old Yazoo River. Hardwood sawmills have been running on this location since the mid 1850‘s. The confederate battleship Arkansas was launched from this site in 1862. Since that time the yard has served many purposes but always in the wood products industry.
